Big Bang Confirmed As Coachella 2026 Headliner...

K-pop legends Big Bang will headline Coachella 2026, marking their first major performance since reuniting last year. The announcement came early Saturday as the festival's second weekend kicks off in Indio, California.

Fans erupted on social media after Coachella's official Instagram posted the set times, confirming Big Bang's Sunday night closing slot. The group last performed at the festival in 2020 before their hiatus.

The reunion comes after member T.O.P's military discharge and G-Dragon's recent solo comeback. Industry insiders say their booking reflects Coachella's continued push for global acts following BLACKPINK's historic 2023 headline set.

Ticket resale prices jumped nearly 40% within hours of the announcement. Many fans are scrambling to attend after missing the group's 2020 performance due to pandemic restrictions.

Big Bang's performance will stream live on YouTube, with replays available for 24 hours. The set is expected to feature new material from their upcoming album, due this summer.

Coachella organizers haven't commented on whether the group will bring special guests. In 2020, they surprised audiences with a cameo from 2NE1's CL during their "Bang Bang Bang" performance.

The news comes as K-pop continues dominating US festival circuits. Seventeen and NewJeans are also performing at this year's Coachella, following successful Lollapalooza sets last summer.
